World Cancer Day - Raising funds for Ian Trushell.

On Sunday 4th February 2024 you will find Mind and Sole and the Mind Dippers leaders along with 30 other people!!! taking a dip at Beadnell Bay, Northumberland. With a 17 mile south-westerly breeze we will need to make sure we wrap up warm!! And an outside air temperature of 7.5 degree’s and water temp roughly 6.5 degree’s its going to be a little bit chilly, which is a shame as mostly everyone will be wearing swimming costume/shorts or a wetsuit.

The day will start at 8am for our leaders where we will set up the event tent, gas burners and warm the kettles. We are expecting participants to come arrive from 8.30am onwards. We are expecting to be toes in the water for 9.30am. Once everyone is out and changed/warmed up there will be a lovely Bacon roll waiting for them with a hot drink. The bacon is being kindly donated by R. Green & Son Butchers at Longframlington @greenbutcher.co.uk with bread rolls and tea bags from kindly being donated by @my.morrisons.com a massive thank you to both companies for doing this.
