Our Summer fete took place on the 12th of August and we had a blast!
We had games like throw the toilet roll into the toilet, throw the dart to win the money, 10p roller, name the teddy, guess the weight of the cake and not to forget the tombola and the incredible raffle!

Thank you to everyone who donated and everyone who came to support both online and in person!

We managed to raise a massive £840 to go towards helping the costs at the hub.
​
As everyone knows the hub runs only off donations and room hire, any donations we receive is so helpful towards keeping the hub running and keeping the sessions we offer as donation only or as cheap as possible. This is so we can keep everything accessible to all.
We really do need to say a massive thank you to all the local shops who donated a raffle prize to us, without those prizes the raffle wouldn't have been possible!

In July members of Mind and Sole had a fantastic opportunity to try a mixture of Paddle boarding/canoeing and Kayaking on Lady burn lake, Thanks to Tim and the team from Coquet Shorebase Trust. 12 members took too the water armed with paddles and life jackets. They had so much fun and I think we have a new wave of Kayakers.
Sports Awards- Feb 2023
We found out last week that Chrissy had been nominated for the Volunteer of the year 2022 award and were invited to the ceremony at the Alnwick Playhouse Thursday 9th February.We were among other amazing people in the nomination and we won the award! We are so proud of the work we do for the community. A massive well done to the directors and all the volunteers who help make everything possible. Here's to 2023!
